Welcome to Restaurant Merkelbach!

Our restaurant is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for coffee & tea, à la carte lunch (served between 12:00 and 4:00 PM), and drinks.

When the weather is nice, you can enjoy our terrace in the most beautiful garden in Amsterdam. On less pleasant days, our restaurant—located in the right wing of the Coach House of the last remaining country estate in Watergraafsmeer—is, of course, still a wonderful place to relax…

During the summer months, we are often closed on Fridays and Saturdays.
We recommend booking online.

PRIVATE DINING

Our house is also available exclusively for private group dinners in the evenings. You can choose the space in which you’d like to dine: the elegant 18th-century Salons, or a beautifully set table in the charming and rustic old Coach House. The choice is yours!
